Participants will sit together and create a 3” beaded pincushion in the Iroquois style. We will sew, laugh, learn and share stories and meaning.This art is a material language which embodies, preserves and expresses Iroquois Worldview. Is an art form of the peoples of the Eastern Great Lakes. Its forms and designs reach back over 10 thousand years. First executed with bone and shell, later with moose hair and hide, and now with glass beads and velvet.
