You are invited to enter your fiber artwork in the Third Fiber Arts Biennale: Keeping Warm. This exhibition will be held December 7, 2017, through March 11, 2018, at the Wisconsin Museum of Quilts & Fiber Arts.

Any current Wisconsin resident or group is invited to enter up to two handcrafted fiber artworks. The museum is searching for examples of all fiber arts media throughout the state under the unified theme “Wisconsin’s winters are cold, but we know how to keep warm.” The exhibit title is Keeping Warm and will be a playful look at the way we deal with the winter months – in practical and whimsical fashion.

Any current Wisconsin resident or group is invited to enter up to two handcrafted fiber art media.
Kits used for any media are NOT acceptable.
The museum welcomes exceptional examples of all fiber arts media for this juried exhibit.

The museum will only accept photographs of completed artwork as entries. Final selections from these photographs will be included in this special exhibit.

Entries will be accepted in two ways and must include

  1. A digital entry emailed to curator@wiquiltmuseum.com with the subject line Third Fiber Arts Biennale Entry. Please fill out the entry form as an email attachment along with a high-resolution digital photograph of the entered artwork. One entry per email is requested.
  2. A paper copy of the entry form with a printed high resolution photograph and mailed to:

Photographs will not be returned.

Entries must be at the museum or emailed no later than 4:00 p.m. on August 10, 2017.

WMQFA will provide all reasonable security and take all reasonable precautions to protect exhibited artwork. Each exhibition artist will be provided WMQFA lender contractual agreements according to WMQFA policies.
