Working with Damaged Quilts
Darlene V. Habanek
November 8, 9:00 am to Noon
A worn or damaged quilt need not be lost. Knowing what to do with it is puzzling. Learn how to evaluate damage, ten practice stitches, patching and batting replacement to build skills.
No advanced skills are required. Students can bring up to two old or damaged quilts to work on. Please also bring a needle, neutral thread and a small scissors.
Darlene is a lover and collector of old quilts. She has studied quilt repair, renewal and conservation for many years.
Class or event registration cancelled more than 30 days prior to the event are fully refundable. Cancellations made 30 days or less than the event are non-refundable. Should WMQFA cancel a class or event all student fees shall be refunded.
