Happy David Taylor Class Attendees

These lucky women had so much fun at David Taylor’s three-day Pictorial Applique class last week. They enthusiastically tackled his techniques for turning photos into art quilts. Others enjoyed his lecture Friday night, “The Reluctant Quilter.” David was a wonderful teacher — notice how all these students are still smiling after three days of class!

We have scheduled many fun and educational offerings for this fall. Pictured at left are two courses in September. Spots are limited, so register now at www.wiquiltmuseum.com.

There you’ll find information about our October lineup, including classes and lectures by Linzi Upton, the creator of the fabulous Quilted Yurt. The North Shore Quilter’s Guild will host a show at our museum October 22 and 23. Chris Motl will lecture on vintage quilts made from recycled seed and feed sacks November 11. And Susan Breier, “It’s A Wrap” author, will feature two basket classes in December.
